I just love the rolling green hills of central California. It is amazing how they can change from being fire charred by fire or dry and brown from drought to great beauty by rain.

Bird of Paradise

While painting this beautiful flower I thought of Gauguin while in the tropics. Perhaps it is because it is winter and I miss the warmth of the sun.

What's Up?
