A Sunny Day In France

This is for the Lee Brown's A Day Not Wasted.  Lee Brown is a professional Photographer and he has kindly offered up a few of his paintings for artist such as myself to paint.  We then post them on his site and we all enjoy seeing everyone's take on the same photo. Check it out here ...

Owl and Company

I finally finished this.  I started it before Thanksgiving and I just got so busy, I am sure you know what I mean.  But now the house is quiet and empty. Tear. So I am glad I have my art and my tunes to keep me company and occupy my mind. The great thing about working with your hands is that you can also pray for those you love as you do it.

Chap in a Cap- Sketch

This is from the October A Day Not Wasted Challenge.  I never submitted it because I was late and my computer was not doing so well.  But I thought I would share him here.

Yoo-Hoo Taxi

This is an old challenge from A Day Not Wasted but ironically I must have done so because this challenge was a year ago! My eyesight is not very good at seeing detail so my eyes got tired quickly doing this and I took far too may breaks. 9" x 12" $50

Wine and Roses

This painting was done for yet another online painting challenge called A Day Not Wasted. It was the first watercolor that I have done for the ADNW and it is the first one I have done in my new Moleskin book and using a scanner instead of a camera. So it took a while just to figure out all these new things. But it was worth it. I loved the reference photo by Lee and all the other submissions are so beautiful.
