Yes -I think you got the look you were going for - the mailbox in the foreground added so much and made a cold distant scene look cozy and welcoming - Great JOb!
The addition of the mailbox has added so much to our 'cold' reference photo. A good illustration tells a story, and the sketch makes me want to grab the mail from the box, and hurry back to the house for some tea! Darling picture.
